How long can I stay in a BBF apartment?
As long as you like provided you did not confirm the end date of the lease.The lease is automatically extended month by month. 
 
What can I expect in my apartment?
Comfortable furniture and carpets. A wooden or carpet floor.
A telephone and a television set. An incorporated fully fitted kitchen with microwave oven, cooking plates and accessories. A bathroom stylishly designed with shower and in some cases with a bath. All towels are provided. A videophone and a thermostat regulated heating. A bedroom with at least a double bed and wardrobe. Some apartments have a balcony and a washing and drying machine. In any case there is a common laundry room in the basement of the property.
 
Is my apartment serviced?
Yes, a cleaning of the apartment is carried out every two weeks including the changing of the bed and bath linen. A handyman will take care of eventual technical problems in your apartment.
 
Do I have an insurance when renting an apartment with BBF?
Landlords have insured their building for fire and related risks, electrical and water damage, on behalf of the tenant, by means of which the tenant’s liability towards the landlord and towards third parties is covered.
The tenant's personal belongings, however, will never be covered by the landlord’s insurance policy.
To insure damage to his/her own property, we advice the tenant to take a separate insurance.
Damage caused by the tenant inside the flat or in common parts is not covered by any insurance.
 
Where in Brussels are the apartments located?
 
Do we accept Pets?
No sorry, pets are not allowed in the apartments because of hygenic and security reasons.
 
Can I smoke in my apartment?
No sorry, smoking is not allowed in the apartments and in the common parts of the building.
 
Are three bedroom apartments available?
Yes, please check the possibilities via the booking tool on our homepage.
 
Is there on-site parking?
Most of the properties have an underground car park.
 
Can the apartments have an extra bed added?
Yes, please ask your local agency for an extra bed or cot.
 
Are cots available?
Yes, please ask your local agency at your arrival or while you make your booking for more infomation.
 
Is there easy access for disabled guests?
Most of the properties have easy access for disabled people. Please ask our booking team for any information about apartments suitable for disabled people during your booking.
 
Whilst staying in my BBF apartment can I hold a party or gathering?
You are free to invite people in your apartment. Please keep in mind that it is required not to make any noise in between 10pm and 8 am, and to carefully read the information and courtesy rules. 
 
Are linen and towels included?
Yes, these are provided and will be changed during the cleaning services.
 
How do I book an apartment?
To find the apartment that suits you the best we ask you to send us your enquiry first.
You can do this by phone, email or by the booking tool on the left side of the website.
Once you have completed the 4 steps you can send your enquiry to BBF.
Once you have completed and sent in your detailed enquiry form the concerning agency will send you an offer by return email. If this offer meets your requirements, please confirm by email a.s.a.p. in order for the agency to book the apartment for you. The booking will expire after 48 hours unless BBF  received a valid confirmation such as a signed contract or a reservation fee of €200. Once received your confirmation the agency will ask for your personal and company details in order to establish the lease. This document has to be signed by a representative or by the tenant. Please send 2 copies to the concerning agency.
 
How do I pay the lease of my apartment?
Both deposit and rentnote can be paid by credit card (online) or by bank transfer. A cash payment is possible at the agency. Internet and telephony connection can be paid online by credit card.
 
Is there a free WIFI-connection in the apartments ?
There is free internet connection in every apartment via lan cable and in some cases via wifi.
 
Can I appeal to someone for technical problems ?
Yes, there is a handyman available for all technical problems.
 
What is included in the rate?
Water, electricity, free internet, cleaning services, bath and bed linen, technical assistance, cable TV, heating, insurance, central waste pickup and administration services are included in the rental price.
 
How far in advance do I have to book my apartment?
We advice to book your apartment 2 weeks in advance.
However it is possible to book an apartment 1 day in advance in some cases.
 
Is there a minimum length of stay?
The minimum stay is 1 month however in some cases it is possible to rent for a shorter period. Please contact our booking team for more information.
 
Can I extend my stay?
Your stay is automatically extended every month. All you have to do is confirm the end of your stay 15 days in advance.
 
How do I check-in?
You can retreive your keys either during office hours at the agency and after office hours in one of the safeboxes situated in one of the entrances of the building. The agency will provide you with a special keycode to retreive your keys in safety. This is also where you will receive your check-in instructions.
 
How do I check-out?
Very easy, just leave your keys at your local agency or in the BBF box in the entrance hall of the property.

Is it possible to view an apartment before booking?
Yes, our sales team will be happy to show you some apartments to give you an idea what your apartment will look like.
 
Can I change apartments?
Yes you can in most cases, but this also depends on the availability of vacant apartments.
 
Where can we find information on BBF and the area in which we are staying ?
Follow Up is basic information guide about the area in which your apartment is situated. It also gives infomation on the city. You should get a copy at your local agency or find a copy in your apartment.
